code_saturne can be coupled with many codes, using its PLE library, or external libraries.

Some coupling models are available by default:

• itself (for conjugate heat transfer, in order to couple different models (RANS/LES), or to model fluid-structure interaction with large displacement or the rotating machines)
• SYRTHES (in order to model the conjugate heat transfer)

Integrating code_saturne in complex system-type couplings can also be done using a dedicated FMI module.

Work on updating coupling with code_aster (for fluid-structure interaction) is also in progress.
