Hi CS users,
For an axisymmetric model, we need to define a wedge domain of one-cell thick in the azimuthal direction. Does Code_Saturne assume a particular angle for the wedge? Thanks.

Re: Axisymmetric model and wedge angle
Hello,
No, there is no specific recommendation. We typically use 5 to 10 degrees.
Be aware that for axy-symmetric cases, we have an issue in the computation of the wall distance (see https://github.com/code-saturne/code_saturne/issues/41 for details) which can affect turbulent wall laws.
The angle might have an influence on this (so testing for several values might be a good idea if you go all the way towards seeing whether a smaller of larger value is better).
Best regards,
Yvan
